I think I know what might have happened here. Check your I-140 petition. Check if on part 2, box "d" was checked. If yes then the officer went looking for an advanced degree (post baccalaureate) and could not find any documents and issued an RFE. It is usually customary for EB-2 to have Masters or show the job requires equivalent education / experience combo otherwise you will have to downgrade 140 to EB-3 (by checking the "e" box and amending I-140 by working with the officer, consult with your lawyer)

Proves that we are not cheap labor and we are not driving the salaries down. I know citizens in my position in my company are not being paid more than me. We had waited for three months to fill a position and we have to compromise in the end because we could not get enough resumes to go through.

It was an audited PERM?
I looked at your signature timeline and it says "LC denied due to date missing on ad portion." Could you please clarify what happened? My job ads are running right now for PERM LC and not sure what I need to keep from the newspaper ad.
I have taken screenshots of Job Order, Yahoo HotJobs, Professional Organization, University Placement etc. I hope the screenshots showing the ad and all the dates would be good enough.
Did they send you RFE for all the job ads and is that how they found out the date missing? I did not know people get RFE for job ads. Thanks.

The online status of your H1 petition is irrelevant when you obtain a SSN card. If the SS people are making it a problem, what they are doing is ILLEGAL. They probably lack essential training for a SS employee. They should accept the notice you show them as proof of approval. If they do not, they are supposed to accept your application for a SS card pending further verification, where they manually contact USCIS and verify your approval (through electronic SAVE, or traditional SAVE forms).
If they refuse, demand to ask for a supervisor, and explain that online statuses sometimes never get updated because USCIS is not required to do so.
That is not true any more. They just accept your application pending verification. SS people are required to check in the system rather than relying your paper document. In Jan. 2003, there was a backlog for H1 data entries, and I had to wait for 3 months to get my SSN. They are not going to give you an SSN unless they can verify your case in the system they access.

Your company would be better off by submitting audited financial to avoid any possible RFP on ability to pay! Also ability to pay not only depends on current standing, if your employer is filing more EB2 for future jobs then he/she may have to prove the business necessity as well.

over 250 people responded to the earlier poll and we see that atleast among IV'ites the PDs are spread all over the years (10% 20% 20% 30%-2006 10%-2007), and there are significant number of 2003/2004 PDs out there.

I got an approval email from CRIS last week on my I-140.
Today I received an email saying the notice that USCIS sent was returned as undeliverable.
Any one has similar experience? Where does the I-140 approval notice go- Attorney or Employer address?

If the cause of wobble on your tripod is the effect of you touching the camera to change the settings, you may want to try the auto-bracketing [although if you have a P&S type camera, it may not have auto-bracketing], which takes three (or five) shots with varying levels of under/over exposure [you can select how much on each photo, and adjust where you start from by adjusting the overall exposure compensation, so if you set +/-1 stop and then start with +1, you get 0, +1 and +2 exposures of the same subject, taken in sequence by the camera...]

If you apply for extnsion, please keep in mind your parents stays in US until you receive their approval extension. If they travel outside the while case pending and if they try to renter before case is approved, they will deny at POE and cancel and 10 Year multiple visa. Be very careful here.
I applied for an extension for my mother-in-law. It was approved several months after her I-94 expiration date. But she left to India two days before her I-94 expiration date. I even sent a letter asking them to cancel/withdraw my application. They didnt care and went ahead and approved. When it came, it was pretty much useless!
What I heard was, when you apply for an extension, the stay after I-94 expiration date is approved by US Attorney general for certain number of days. We didn't pursue that option since we thought that it could jeopardize her subsequent trip.

My attornies (big firm...working for Fortune 500 company) says that dates could retrogress anytime i.e. on 15 July 07, dates could move back several months and the chances of that happening are very high. My advise is to have your spouse cut the vacation short and return asap...! You need to file ASAP.
